Divai - Selection Rosé
Alentejo
Clear, Blooming, Lingering
While the world of wine is awash with countless expressions of rosé wines ranging from the lightest provençal styles to the darker and more extracted styles, this wine is unique in that it is intended to demonstrate the potential for indigenous Portuguese grapes (such as Trincadeira) to be used to make compelling and memorable rosé. The wine accomplishes this by offering not only the bright berry and summer fruit characteristics that are typical and expected in rosé, but also complex herbal and floral notes that come through in both the aroma and the palate. These distinctive characteristics are supported by a strong acid structure that carries them into a lingering mouth-watering finish that encourages the drinker to take another sip.
